Welcome to Babushka. These terms apply to your use of our website and to any order you place with us. By using our store or buying from us, you agree to them. Please read them — they're written to be clear, not to trip you up.

This store is operated by Babushka slf., based in 101 Reykjavík, Iceland. You can reach us any time at babushka@babushka.is.

Using our store

You're welcome to browse and shop with us. You agree to use the store honestly and lawfully, and not to misuse it, interfere with how it works, or try to access parts of it you're not meant to. We may update, pause, or remove parts of the store at any time.

Age

You must be 18 or over to place an order. If you're under 18, you may only order with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who takes responsibility for the order. By placing an order you confirm you meet this requirement.

Products

We do our best to show our pieces accurately, but colours and details can look slightly different depending on your screen. Our jewelry is made from stainless steel with 18K gold plating, and small natural variations between pieces can occur. Products are subject to availability, and we may change or discontinue items at any time.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Icelandic króna (ISK) and include VAT. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. If a price is obviously wrong due to a clear error, we're not obliged to honour it, and we'll let you know before charging you.

Orders

When you place an order, you'll get a confirmation email. That email confirms we've received your order — a contract between us is formed once we accept and process it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there's been a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have under Icelandic consumer law, including your right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days and your rights if a product is faulty. These terms apply alongside those rights, not instead of them.

Intellectual property

Everything on this store — our name, logo, text, images, and designs — belongs to Babushka or our partners, and is protected by law. You're welcome to view and share it for personal, non-commercial use, but please don't copy, reproduce, or use it commercially without our written permission.

Our liability

We provide our store and products with care, but to the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the store. Nothing here limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for faulty products under your statutory rights.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you place an order is the one that applies. We'll update the date below when we make changes.
